At Ocean Gate Zen Center we are committed to encouraging the integration of Buddhist teaching and practice into everyday life. Guided by the bodhisattva precepts and the teachings of Soto Zen our aim is to create a compassionate and open environment for all people interested in the study and practice of Buddhism. We offer zazen, dharma talks, study opportunities, ceremony , and outreach to the wider community.

Ocean Gate Zen Center is available to all and there is no charge for the daily program or lectures, although financial support is always welcome and needed. The Zen Center relies solely on donations. Ocean Gate Zen Center is a 501(c)3 tax exempt non-profit religious organization. Your donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
